Well I finally heard back from CIS and our paper work is lost… They can’t find it! So I am going to have to resubmit the paperwork and wait some more for my I-171H. This sucks why does everything always have to go wrong.
I know. It really stinks to do double the work. We just got word that because we didn’t make it through court, we have to re-do several of our documents (homestudy, medical information, child abuse clearances, etc.). BUT, we know that we CAN and WILL persevere!! You can do it! Hopefully, you’ll turn in your new stuff and get your i-171H asap!
Things go wrong because that’s what makes the timing exactly right to bring you to your child. I know it stinks big time. We went through a lot of these same problems. The thing that I see now that I didn’t then is that if paperwork hadn’t been lost, or people refused to call us back, Petros wouldn’t be our son. Yes, we would have gotten a referral sooner, but it wouldn’t be him. I hope you get it SOON!!!

Oh I’m sorry! That SUCKS. Things seem to go so easily for some people and so difficult for others. I’m sorry you have to deal with this delay.
